Newspaper of Kōgei Tatataa vol.1
| “Paper and Wood” Special Feature Text from gallery hakuden: In this day and age, what does it mean to create and discover things? This is an attempt to articulate phenomena that remain unseen on the surface through the act of making things. We invite contributors from diverse fields to explore the possibilities of ”Kōgei” from every angle. To convey the sense of handcrafted work through the newspaper itself, each issue features a cover made from handmade paper. Printing is handled by Bunrindo in Fukuoka. The cover uses letterpress and stencil printing, while the text is stencil printed. We hope you'll pick it up and appreciate the handmade paper and the scent of the printing. It features Japanese-English bilingual text. We are grateful that this TATATAA could be published through exceptional craftsmanship and the cooperation of many people.
